HOW OBRA WORKS

Share what is happening. Drew reviews the fit. Agree the next step.

A paid Brief is the normal first purchase. Project and Office are considered later and agreed separately.

An inquiry starts a conversation. It does not accept work, set a price, or reserve availability.

Brief, Project, and Office are three separate decisions.

FIRST CONVERSATION

Understand the fit before defining the work.

The first exchange should make the situation clearer without pretending the scope is already known.

01

SHARE WHAT IS HAPPENING

Describe the part of the business that keeps getting stuck, returning, or losing context.

02

DREW REVIEWS THE FIT

Drew looks at the condition, asks what is still needed, and decides whether Obra is a sensible fit.

03

AGREE THE NEXT STEP

Continue only when the next step has a clear purpose, scope, and separate agreement.

PAID OBRA BRIEF

Choose and define the right first change.

The Brief turns the current condition into a practical decision before a larger implementation commitment is made.

THE COMPANY BRINGS

  • What is happening now and what should work better.
  • The people, tools, constraints, and prior attempts already involved.

OBRA DOES

  • Maps the current path and resolves the important unknowns.
  • Defines the priority change, boundary, and practical first build.

THE COMPANY RECEIVES

  • A clear scope, named decisions, and a recommended path forward.
  • A useful Brief even if Obra does not implement the next stage.

THE COMPANY DECIDES

  • Act on the Brief internally.
  • Commission a separate Obra Project.
  • Hold until the timing is right.

The Brief is useful on its own. Buying one does not commit the company to a Project or Office.

LATER DECISIONS

Build only when the outcome and responsibility are clear.

OBRA PROJECT

Implement one agreed change.

A Project designs and builds the needed customer-facing and operating work, then prepares the company to use it.

Scope, price, timing, and acceptance are agreed separately.

OBRA OFFICE

Continue only when ongoing help has a clear job.

Office can support a defined capability or review rhythm after a Project. Its responsibility and duration are agreed in advance.

Office is not automatic and is not required after a Project.

BEGIN

Start with what is happening now.

The current start path creates an email-ready draft you can review before choosing to send it.
